About Paul Wojciechowski, AICP, PE

Paul Wojciechowski received his BSCE from UMR in 1983 and began his career with MoDOT in Willow Springs in 1983. He is now a Senior Associate and St. Louis Office Manager for Alta Planning and Design, a company with 20 offices nationwide, based in Portland Ore. He has spent 28 years working with transportation planning for public sector entities as well as consulting firms. Paul served in planning and design positions at MoDOT for 17 years, most of which was in the St. Louis Metro District. He later served as Director of Public Works for the City of Clayton from 2004-2008 and was responsible for all aspects of public works projects, capital improvement budgeting, parking, traffic, vehicle fleet management and building maintenance. While in Clayton, Paul received an Outstanding Local Government Leadership Award from the East West Gateway Council of Governments in 2007. An avid bicyclist, who often rides his bike to work, Paul’s career has been focused on planning and design of streets that serve all users throughout the St. Louis area. His work in “bike ped” issues and facilities has earned him Trailnet’s Healthy Active Living Award and Missouri Bicycle Federation’s Distinguished Service Award. Paul lives with his wife, Sharon, in the City of Wildwood, where he has served as City Council Member, P&Z member and Town Center Advisory Committee Member. He is currently on the Board of Adjustment for the city.
